A playbill advertising the performance at Devonshire House on May 16, 1851 under the auspices of the Guild of Literature and Art of Bulwer Lytton’s new comedy Not So Bad As We Seem: or, Many Sides To A Character.  The play was performed for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.  Charles Dickens had the role of Lord Wilmot.  John Forster, Douglas Jerrold and Wilkie Collins were also in the cast.
